Autumnal NYX Lip Products

With the dark mornings and often frost on the car windscreen, autumn is well and truly here, with winter coming soon.  As soon as autumn comes I love pulling out the autumnal and sometime vampy lip colours.  Over the last couple of months I have been trying out a couple of Nyx Autumnal lipsticks.  I have used both products a lot so today I’m going to tell you my point of view.

Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics!!!

This is Urban Decay’s latest eyeshadow palette offering and boy is it a good idea!   They have definitely listened to what their customers want and I think a (pretty much) all matte palette from such a high quality brand is great.  For ages I have found it so annoying that most eyeshadow palettes have a very high ratio of shimmers to so few mattes but yet we all need matte eye shadows.

We are always told that our crease and transition shades should be matte as they blend more effortlessly than shimmers or glitters and give a gradient effect, however it is always so hard to find matte shadows. Most eye shadow palettes have very few matte shades, with it being extremely difficult to find colours that aren’t brown or grey matte shades to play with. Following a recent makeup class I began a hunt to find a matte palette and I found one…Makeup Revolution Flawless Matte palette.
