Spare a Thought at Christmas Time

This is a very quick blog post which is nothing like any of my other posts.  With Christmas literally on the doorstep there are many happy and cheery people enjoying the season but there are also a lot of people who find this time of year so difficult! For those grieving or going through a tough time, thoughts of happy times in the past and seeing everyone else enjoy family time can make their loss or difficult time feel so much more prominent.

While I hope everyone enjoys their Christmas, I hope everyone spares some time to consider those who are hurting, or if you are hurting know that you are not alone!

Autumnal NYX Lip Products

With the dark mornings and often frost on the car windscreen, autumn is well and truly here, with winter coming soon.  As soon as autumn comes I love pulling out the autumnal and sometime vampy lip colours.  Over the last couple of months I have been trying out a couple of Nyx Autumnal lipsticks.  I have used both products a lot so today I’m going to tell you my point of view.

Another day, another foundation review – my foundation obsession continues!  I have been trying out and wearing Clinique’s Beyond Perfecting 2 in 1 foundation and concealer for a couple of months now and I have to say I really like it!

Urban Decay Naked Ultimate Basics!!!

This is Urban Decay’s latest eyeshadow palette offering and boy is it a good idea!   They have definitely listened to what their customers want and I think a (pretty much) all matte palette from such a high quality brand is great.  For ages I have found it so annoying that most eyeshadow palettes have a very high ratio of shimmers to so few mattes but yet we all need matte eye shadows.

Lipstick Haul…My lipstick ban didn’t last long!

I have majorly failed on my lipstick ban and in one single shop bought three new lipsticks!  Fortunately they are all very affordable and I love them all!

Primark foundation…worth a try?

The new PS Pro range has been getting quite a bit of attention in the beauty world so I thought I would give the £5 foundation a try.  £5 Longwear foundation…can it be possible?  This review is a quick first impressions of the foundation which I have used for two full days to date.

Double Wear Nude Cushion Stick Foundation

At the minute I have an absolute obsession with foundations, I just keep buying different types so today’s review is on one of my latest purchases…Estée Lauder Double Wear Nude.  I have never tried Estée Lauder’s famous Double Wear foundation as although I like coverage I was scared of getting used to the full coverage formula and not wanting to use a lighter formula.  I have been wearing this foundation for a few weeks now and these are my thoughts.
